CSSBI Website Refresh

The Canadian Sheet Steel Building Institute required a refresh to their website in order modernize their look in an effort to attract a larger audience. The homepage design in particular needed to highlight their News section as well as the primary product categories that the Institute promotes. As it is a large, information-heavy site, it was important to highlight the most important features and sections while keeping the look clean and organized.

Carbon Neutrality Study Website

The Canadian Sheet Steel Building Institute participated in a study to determine how the use of steel could be used to create a carbon neutral building. As part of educating the public about the findings, they came to us to develop a site for them that helped describe the project and it’s participants.

Speaker Icon

As an exercise, this icon was designed in the style of an iOS app icon using a multitude of layers and effects to achieve the final look. Created entirely in Photoshop, it was modeled after an actual desktop speaker but simplified to reduce complexities that may not translate well at small sizes.

CDF Enterprises Logo

CDF Enterprises required a logo that encapsulated their core brand strengths of measurability and collaboration.

The colours, shapes and typography used in this logo design were all purposefully selected to reflect the business in an honest and professional fashion.

Northfield Inertia-I Datasheet

Northfield Metal Products needed a refresh of their datasheets that are used to communicate model specifications to customers. The brochure features a 3D rendered model image and bold and prominent typography. Mimicking an engineering look, the rear of the datasheet attractively displays measurements and other vital details about the product.
